About the Role:

As a Special Education Teacher, you will play a vital role in providing individualized instruction and support to students with identified special needs. Your expertise will help develop and implement Individualized Educational Plans (IEPs) that cater to each student's unique requirements. You will work closely with staff, parents, and outside agencies to ensure seamless delivery of services and adherence to due process. Your responsibilities will include:

• Providing individualized instruction and support to students with special needs
• Developing and implementing IEPs that meet statutory and regulatory requirements
• Monitoring student progress and facilitating adjustments to IEPs as needed
• Collaborating with staff, parents, and outside agencies to ensure effective delivery of services
• Providing consultation and resource information to parents and general education teachers
• Teaching students and providing co-teaching and instructional support in the general education environment
• Coordinating services to ensure a cohesive program of teaching and learning
