As a Senior Analyst, Marketing Technology, you'll play a critical role in enabling marketing endeavors, processes, and driving functional efficiencies through technology implementations and ongoing support.
About the Role
We're seeking an experienced Senior Analyst to join our Marketing Technology team, based in Atlanta, USA. As a key member of our team, you'll be responsible for staying up-to-date on the latest marketing technology trends, providing ongoing support for our marketing technology systems, and driving process improvements through data analysis and insights. You'll collaborate with cross-functional partners, including marketing technology product management, brand marketing account services, creative, and program management office (PMO), to understand business needs and implement technology solutions that enable marketing project execution and drive functional efficiencies.
Key Responsibilities
- Stay Ahead of the Curve: Stay informed on marketing technology systems, capabilities, and trends in marketing operations (10% of the time)
- Ongoing Support for Systems: Provide ongoing support for systems that enable marketing project execution by developing and delivering training, new partner on-boarding, and administration of implementations to ensure configurations and data remain clean (20% of the time)
- Drive Process Improvements: Use data and insights to enhance processes and support through areas like automation, continuous improvements to system configurations, process improvement, and alterations to training programs to drive functional efficiencies (20% of the time)
- Collaborate with External Partners: Collaborate with third-party software vendors to understand and influence their capabilities roadmap (10% of the time)
- Partner with Cross-Functional Teams: Collaborate with marketing technology product management, brand marketing account services, creative, program management office (PMO), and other cross-functional partners to understand business needs and implement technology solutions (20% of the time)
- Requirements Gathering: Design technology solutions, on-board clients, and implement solutions that enable marketing project execution and processes based on PMO best practices and requirements gathered (20% of the time)
Essential Qualifications
To succeed in this role, you'll need:
- A Bachelor's degree in a relevant field
- Previous experience in traditional and/or digital marketing, marketing operations, or marketing technology projects
- Self-motivated and able to work independently and collaboratively within/across team(s)
- Strong problem-solving skills with the ability to manage around ambiguity
- Ability to communicate complex subjects to executive and senior management
- Experience with marketing technology systems and methodologies, including but not limited to digital asset management, aggregated creative/content, campaign and deal management, marketing workflow management, and agile marketing
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills and the ability to create clear and concise executive-ready reports
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications will give you a competitive edge:
- Experience with marketing automation platforms and technologies
- Knowledge of data analysis and reporting tools
- Familiarity with agile project management methodologies
