Oracle Fusion Solution Architect Finance & PPM Location: Remote (Occasional Travel Required) Client Industry: Construction | Michigan-Based Shift: 8:00 AM 5:00 PM CST Employment Type: Contract About the Opportunity We are seeking an experienced Oracle Fusion Solution Architect with deep expertise in Finance and Project Portfolio Management (PPM) modules to support a construction company based in Michigan. In this role, you will serve as a trusted advisor and client-side representative, working alongside the Systems Integrator to ensure the solution is designed and delivered in alignment with the client's unique business needs. Key Responsibilities • Lead and facilitate discovery sessions and solution design workshops with business stakeholders Represent the client's interests alongside the Systems Integrator throughout the implementation lifecycle Translate business requirements into scalable Oracle Fusion functional solutions across Finance and PPM modules Provide expert guidance on Oracle Fusion Financials, including GL, AP, AR, FA, and Cash Management Provide expert guidance on Oracle Fusion PP,M, including Project Costing, Project Billing, Project Management, and Revenue Recognition Review and validate solution design documents, configuration workbooks, and functional specs Identify gaps between business requirements and standard Oracle functionality; recommend appropriate solutions Provide strategic guidance on best practices, module configuration, and process optimization Required Qualifications • 8+ years of hands-on experience with Oracle ERP, including 4+ years with Oracle Fusion Cloud Strong functional expertise in both Oracle Fusion Finance and PPM modules Proven experience leading or supporting solution design workshops and discovery sessions Solid accounting and finance background ability to speak the language of finance teams and translate business processes into system requirements Experience working in a client-side advisory or representative capacity alongside a Systems Integrator Excellent communication and stakeholder management skills Ability to work independently in a remote setting with minimal supervision Preferred Qualifications Prior experience in the construction industry Work Arrangement This is a fully remote position with occasional travel to the client site in Michigan as needed. Standard working hours are 8:00 AM to 5:00 PM CST. The initial contract duration is 3 months, focused on discovery and solution design. Based on project progression, the engagement is expected to extend by an additional 6 to 9 months to support the full implementation phase.
