Conduct financial analysis and due diligence for potential and completed acquisitions.
Prepare and maintain financial models, projections, and valuations for M&A transactions.
Collaborate with cross-functional teams to identify and evaluate potential acquisition targets.
Analyze and interpret financial statements, data, and trends to provide insights and recommendations for M&A strategies.
Develop and maintain relationships with external advisors, such as investment banks and legal counsel, to support M&A activities.
Assist in the negotiation and structuring of M&A deals to ensure alignment with company goals and objectives.
Ensure timely and accurate reporting of M&A activity and related financial information to senior management.
Monitor and track post-acquisition performance and provide analysis and recommendations for integration and optimization.
Stay current on industry trends and best practices related to M&A and provide insights and recommendations for continuous improvement.
Collaborate with accounting and finance teams to ensure proper recording and reporting of M&A transactions in accordance with GAAP and company policies.
Adhere to all regulatory and compliance requirements related to M&A activities.
Mentor and train junior team members and provide guidance and support as needed.
Act as a subject matter expert for M&A related accounting and financial matters.
Proactively identify and address potential risks and issues related to M&A transactions.
Participate in special projects and initiatives as assigned by senior management.
