Job Overview

As a Ramp Agent at arenaflex, you will be responsible for coordinating planes on the ground, handling freight and baggage, and ensuring that our ground operations run efficiently and safely. Key Responsibilities

• Offer friendly assistance to and maintain positive relationships with all internal and external customers
• Work in a cooperative spirit to ensure the success of our organization
• Load, unload, service, guide, and direct arenaflex aircraft
• Receive and record customer baggage, air cargo, mail, and company materials as required
• Handle all aspects of loading, stowing, and unloading baggage, cargo, airmail, and company materials according to a predetermined plan
• Operate and drive mechanized equipment, such as belt loaders, air start units, lift trucks, pushback tractors, and de-icers
• Physically move around push trucks and containers
• Work on and between passenger terminals, concourses, and airfreight facilities, both inside and outside
• May be exposed to a wide range of weather conditions, noise, and equipment fumes for extended periods

Essential Qualifications

• Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
• Ability to work in a team environment and under stressful conditions
• Capacity to understand documents, follow instructions, learn and comprehend ramp operations techniques, rules, and regulations
• Awareness of hazardous situations and ability to handle emergencies as needed
• Ability to work under close time constraints to achieve rapid turns of aircraft
• Valid state driver's license
• Ability to obtain a SIDA badge and meet all local airport requirements

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in customer service, aviation, or a related field
• Knowledge of ground operations procedures and regulations
• Experience operating mechanized equipment, such as belt loaders and lift trucks
• Ability to speak multiple languages
