SBI Consultants LLC is an industry leader in engineering consulting, seeking a Project Engineer to join their team. The Project Engineer will serve as a liaison between the project manager and technical disciplines, managing project schedules, budgets, and documentation while ensuring compliance with customer requirements. Responsibilities - Plans and implements engineering program, including defining the project philosophy, activities, milestones, and staff requirements, per customer requirements - Develops and maintains a schedule and budget for the assigned engineering project - Provides reports on the status of project milestones and adjusts schedules accordingly - Controls expenditures within limitations of project budget - Monitors project resource and productivity requirements and coordinates staffing with supporting organization managers - Coordinates preparation and delivery of project design documents, and bid packages - Monitors project teams’ performance in accordance with established project criteria - Reviews product design for compliance with customer contract requirements, and related specifications - Monitors activities concerned with technical, scheduling, and budgeting developments - Monitors integration of technical activities and products - Monitors design changes, specifications, and drawing releases - Prepares interim and completion project reports - Provides status and progress reports to clients, project team, and management - Other duties may be assigned Skills - Bachelor and/or Master's degree in engineering from an accredited university - 0 to 3 years of relevant industry experience or equivalent combination of education and experience - Successful candidate must be a problem solver and a team player - Ability to manage time, plan and prioritize assignments to meet clients' demands and project(s) deadlines - Excellent oral and written communication skills - Undertraining of Critical Path Method (CPM) scheduling is essential for success in this role - Master's degree is preferred - Working knowledge of scheduling tools, such as Primavera P6, Vizio, MS Project, and Smartsheet is preferred Benefits - Annual employee performance bonus & company profit sharing bonus - Professional Development allowance - Medical (100% paid by company), Dental & Vision insurance - FSA/HSA - 401K & company profit sharing bonus - Commuter pre-tax - Life, AD&D, Short-, and Long-Term disability insurances - Employee Assistance Program (EAP) & HealthAdvocate - Voluntary Benefits - Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity; Pet Insurance; Legal Plan - Generous Paid Time Off, Volunteer and Holidays package Company Overview - Welcome to SBI Consultants, Inc.
