Overview & Responsibilities
Work with a leading healthcare solutions firm to design, develop, and maintain critical data exchange programs. As an ETL Engineer, you will join a lean, highly productive team responsible for managing data flows across 40 different contracts. Your primary focus will be using Informatica PowerCenter to process healthcare data (members, providers, and claims), ensuring high efficiency and adherence to HIPAA standards. You will
Design and develop complex program logic for ETL/EDI data exchanges using Informatica PowerCenter.
Create and manage Informatica sessions and workflows based on detailed source-to-target mappings.
Maintain and update existing systems, including troubleshooting and debugging legacy SSIS code.
Perform rigorous unit testing on all developed code before transitioning to QA.
Document technical specifications and program code to ensure long-term system maintainability.
Collaborate with Business Analysts and the Lead Developer to translate user requirements into technical solutions.
Required Qualifications
Bachelor s degree in Computer Science, Engineering, or a related field and 7 to 10 years of professional ETL development experience.
Experience handling Healthcare data (Members, Claims, Providers) or Insurance industry data.
Expert-level proficiency in Informatica PowerCenter (specifically versions 10.1 through 10.5).
Strong proficiency in SQL Server and writing/debugging complex SQL queries.
Demonstrated experience with Unit Testing and the full Software Development Life Cycle (SDLC).
Ability to work under tight deadlines and communicate technical concepts to non-technical stakeholders.
Preferred Qualifications
Experience handling Healthcare data (Members, Claims, Providers) or Insurance industry data.
Experience with Informatica Cloud (IICS/IDMC) or Informatica Intelligent Cloud Services.
Familiarity with SSIS (SQL Server Integration Services) for legacy code maintenance.
Experience using JIRA for task tracking and documentation in Word/Excel.
