About the Role
As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will be responsible for entering large volumes of data into our customer information system and other Public Works software with a high degree of speed and accuracy. This role requires independent thinking, good judgement, and personal initiative to manage tasks effectively and support the Customer Service Division. Under general supervision, you will be an integral part of our team, contributing to the smooth operation of our business processes.
Key Responsibilities
- Establish and maintain utility accounts, ensuring data accuracy and up-to-date information.
- Verify account eligibility and accessibility to prevent discrepancies and ensure compliance.
- Prepare, distribute, and complete work orders efficiently, adhering to deadlines.
- Prepare files for mass customer communications, ensuring timely and effective outreach.
- Assist with mailing billing statements and other notices generated in-house, maintaining a high level of organization.
- Scan or retain documents as necessary, maintaining accurate records.
- Perform monthly audits of incomplete account transfer requests to identify and resolve issues.
- Enter data into Key Performance Indicator (KPI) tracking databases to support business insights and decision-making.
- Perform other related duties as assigned, demonstrating flexibility and a willingness to adapt.
Essential Qualifications
To be considered for this role, you must meet the following minimum qualifications:
- High School Diploma or an acceptable equivalency diploma (GED).
- Two (2) years of experience as a high-volume data entry operator or typist, showcasing your ability to work accurately and efficiently.
