Overview
I’m seeking a U.S.-licensed patent attorney to perform a targeted legal risk review of an already-filed provisional patent application.
The application is complete and being prepared for licensing, TTO outreach, and partner diligence.
This role is review-only. No drafting, rewriting, or restructuring.
The invention is a non-software, cross-sector platform architecture spanning materials, formulations, structures, and controlled behaviors across multiple industries.
⸻
Scope (Strictly Limited)
• High-level §101 / §112 / enablement risk scan
• Identify over-narrow or unintentionally limiting language
• Flag internal consistency or clarity issues
• Assess licensing-stage perception risks (TTO / diligence lens)
• Confirm disclosure supports broad, non-software platform claims
Out of Scope (Important):
• ❌ No rewriting
• ❌ No redrafting
• ❌ No claim drafting
• ❌ No formatting or polishing
• ❌ No changes unless explicitly requested
Feedback may be delivered as bullet points, margin notes, or a short memo.
⸻
Ideal Background
• U.S.-licensed patent attorney
• Experience with platform-level or architecture-style inventions
• Strong background in materials, chemistry, biotech, medical devices, or mechanical systems
• Familiar with licensing diligence and TTO review standards
• Comfortable advising without rewriting
⸻
Deliverable
• Concise written summary identifying:
• Critical risks (if any)
• Optional improvement considerations
• Areas already strong / well-covered
• Clear separation of must-fix vs optional
⸻
Budget & Timing
• Fixed fee preferred
• Efficient, high-signal review (not a full analysis memo)
• Fast turnaround valued
⸻
