Key Responsibilities
As a Full Stack Systems Engineer, you'll be responsible for:
- Designing, developing, and maintaining web and cloud applications using a range of technologies, including Java, Python, and AWS
- Collaborating with cross-functional teams to identify business requirements and develop solutions that meet those needs
- Ensuring the security, scalability, and performance of our applications and systems
- Providing technical leadership and guidance to junior engineers and other team members
- Staying up-to-date with the latest technologies and trends in the industry, and applying that knowledge to improve our systems and processes
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you'll need:
- A bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
- At least 3 years of experience in software development, with a focus on web and cloud applications
- Strong knowledge of Java, Python, and AWS, with experience in designing and developing scalable and secure applications
- Excellent problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze complex technical issues and develop effective solutions
- Strong communication and collaboration skills, with the ability to work effectively with cross-functional teams
- Experience with Agile development methodologies, with a focus on iterative and incremental development
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following qualifications would be a plus:
- Experience with DevOps practices, including continuous integration and continuous deployment
- Knowledge of containerization technologies, such as Docker and Kubernetes
- Experience with cloud-based services, such as AWS Lambda and API Gateway
- Strong understanding of security principles and practices, with experience in implementing secure applications and systems
- Experience with testing and quality assurance, with a focus on automated testing and continuous integration
