We’re looking for fintech enthusiasts to join us in creating the financial infrastructure of tomorrow. We’re building the first European Investment API to enable any financial institution offering a wide range of efficient and transparent investment products, such as stocks and ETFs in nominal, portfolio, and fractional form. As Upvest enters the next stage of growth, we are looking for an exceptional Senior Product Designer - Tooling. You will work directly with Christian Wöhlke & Dafni Chontou owning topics critical to Upvest’s product and business success:
Design and deliver exceptional tooling that empower our Operations teams
You will play a pivotal role in improving Upvest’s internal Operations Tooling by designing intuitive, purpose-built tools that are deeply aligned with user’ and operator’s needs. Through close collaboration with cross-functional partners, you will optimize existing workflows, introduce scalable design patterns, and develop reusable UX components that enable engineering teams to ship faster and with greater consistency. Your work will directly improve the speed, accuracy, and satisfaction of our operations teams - turning internal tooling into a strategic advantage for Upvest’s growth.
Design and launch Upvest’s external tooling product
You are responsible for defining and delivering the end-to-end design (UX and UI) for this new greenfield product. The External Service is a brand new product that will amend our Investment API offering by providing self-service customer support to scale with our enterprise expansion and enable further sales growth in the enterprise space. Your work will be instrumental in delivering a seamless, intuitive experience that positions Upvest as a reliable and enterprise-ready technology partner.

Role requirements
You have 5+ years (or demonstrated equivalent) experience working in Product Design roles (UX, UI and Product Design) - ideally with a strong focus on building high performing Tooling applications (internally/externally). Experience in financial services/investing, B2B SaaS or FinTech is a big plus.
Understanding complex subject matters quickly and ability to zoom in & out with ease.
The ability to bridge the why with the Product design side, discussing tradeoffs and proactively suggesting ideas, aka a strong product mindset.
Productivity powerhouse, capable of rapidly developing and iterating on low-fidelity design concepts to support fast-paced project needs.
Vast, applied knowledge of core Product design concepts such as patterns and design systems and the ability to convey those to internal and external stakeholders
Practical knowledge of the tools of the trade for efficient collaboration with Product Managers and Product Engineers (Figma, Miro, Storybook).
