Job Summary:

As a Senior Data Engineer at CVS Health, you will work closely with various business groups and cross-functional teams to design and implement data solutions that drive business insights and inform decision-making. You will be responsible for developing and maintaining large-scale data pipelines, ETL processes, and database systems, as well as collaborating with data scientists to integrate models and algorithms into automated processes.

Key Responsibilities:

• Design, build, and maintain large-scale data architectures and pipelines to organize, collect, and normalize data
• Develop ETL processes, database systems, and tools for real-time and offline analytical processing
• Collaborate with data science teams to integrate models and algorithms into automated processes
• Work with Cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure) and experience with data warehousing and ETL
• Utilize strong programming skills in Python or other relevant languages to build robust data pipelines and dynamic systems
• Develop data stores and data models to support Information Science and other internal clients
• Analyze current data technology environments to identify and assess critical capabilities and recommend solutions

Requirements:

• Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or related field
• 2+ years of relevant work experience in Information Engineering
• 2+ years of experience with SQL
• 2+ years of experience with Python
• Experience with Cloud-based platforms (GCP, AWS, or Azure)
• Strong communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills

Preferred Qualifications:

• Experience with Hadoop, Hive, or PySpark
• Experience with reporting tools (e.g., Tableau)
• Healthcare industry experience
