We offer a unique opportunity for a talented Data Analyst, Marketing Insights to join our dynamic team in a hybrid remote role. As a key player in our marketing analytics team, you will drive business growth by developing and optimizing metrics-based dashboards, measuring marketing effectiveness, and providing strategic insights that inform investment and client experience decisions.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and Optimize Marketing Metrics and Dashboards: Design, implement, and refine metrics-based dashboards to monitor marketing funnel engagement and measure effectiveness across client journeys.
- Strategic Insights and Recommendations: Analyze complex data to provide actionable insights and recommendations that drive marketing strategy and investment decisions.
- Collaboration and Communication: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including marketing strategists, market research & insights analysts, and channel strategists to align metrics and optimize marketing efforts.
- Data-Driven Culture: Contribute to the development of a data-driven culture within SVB Marketing and help advance analytics capabilities and frameworks.
Requirements:
- Education: BS, BA, or equivalent in Math, Computer Science, or related fields required; MBA or MS in Statistics, Math, or related fields a plus.
- Experience: 6+ years of experience in marketing data analytics with a strong focus on building data architectures and analytics to measure marketing influence on revenue.
- Technical Skills:
- 5+ years of experience with SQL.
- 4+ years of experience with Google Analytics.
- Proficiency in data visualization tools such as Excel, Tableau, Power BI.
- Experience with Oracle database, Google Analytics/Adobe Analytics, and MAP (Marketo) is preferred.
- Analytical and Problem-Solving Skills: Demonstrated analytical background with deep experience in advanced marketing analytics, ROI/financial modeling, and media-mix models.
