The role requires a strong background in virtual service delivery and expertise with the EDPLAN IEP system. As a Virtual School Psychologist, you will provide psychological support services to students, including assessment, intervention, and consultation with teachers and parents. You will work independently, with a high degree of autonomy, to deliver services that meet the unique needs of our students.
Key Responsibilities:
- Provide comprehensive psychological support services to students in a virtual setting, including assessment, intervention, and consultation with teachers and parents
- Develop and implement individualized plans to support student success, including behavioral and academic interventions
- Collaborate with educators, administrators, and other support staff to ensure that students receive seamless support
- Utilize the EDPLAN IEP system to manage and deliver services, including developing and implementing IEPs
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date records of services provided, including progress notes and assessment reports
- Participate in virtual meetings and training sessions to stay current on best practices and emerging trends in school psychology
- Provide crisis intervention and support services as needed
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications:
- Certification as a School Psychologist through the Oklahoma Department of Education
- Minimum of 2 years' experience working remotely in a school setting
- Proficiency in using the EDPLAN IEP system
- Must have professional liability insurance (to be provided upon offer)
Preferred Qualifications:
- Experience working with diverse student populations, including students with varying abilities and needs
- Strong knowledge of evidence-based practices in school psychology, including assessment, intervention, and consultation
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with students, teachers, and parents
- Ability to work independently, with a high degree of autonomy, in a virtual setting
