We're seeking a highly motivated and experienced Strategic Account Manager to join our team at Alaska Airlines. As a key member of our corporate team, you will be responsible for managing a select portfolio of high-value corporate and agency partners, driving revenue growth, and delivering exceptional customer experiences.
Job Summary:
The Strategic Account Manager will be the sole point of contact for a designated set of key accounts, responsible for developing and executing long-term strategies to drive revenue growth and expand our business offerings. This is a remote, full-time position offering a competitive salary of $27/hour and the opportunity to work with a dynamic and innovative airline.
Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and manage high-touch, strategic relationships with key corporate and agency partners
- Negotiate complex contracts and agreements to drive revenue growth and expand our business offerings
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and execute sales strategies and drive revenue growth
- Analyze data to measure contract performance and identify opportunities for revenue growth
- Build strong relationships with key stakeholders, including corporate and agency decision-makers
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends and developments to drive business growth and stay ahead of the competition
Requirements:
- 3+ years of experience in external sales, preferably in corporate sales or a related field
- Bachelor's degree or equivalent experience
- Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office applications (e.g., Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook)
- Ability to travel (10% or more of the time) in support of your role
Preferred Qualifications:
- Previous experience with travel industry data reporting sources like ARC and Crystal
- Knowledge of CRM tools, such as Salesforce
- Proven ability to work in a logically driven, fact-based sales and account management environment
- Experience in negotiating and managing corporate and agency contracts using comprehensive understanding of current travel industry distribution models
