The Sales Specialist, also known as Puppy Concierge, will handle inbound leads and outbound follow-ups to guide families in their decision to adopt a puppy, ensuring a high-quality customer experience.
Responsibilities
- Own a high volume of inbound and outbound leads daily—respond quickly, qualify thoroughly, and drive each conversation toward the next step in the sales process
- Uncover a customer’s lifestyle, motivations, concerns, and expectations to make strong puppy recommendations that are personalized and practical
- Educate families on our no puppy mill promise, 10-year health commitment, travel safety, breeder vetting, and customer-first experience
- Confidently overcome objections, guide decision-making, and convert interest into confirmed puppy matches with both empathy and precision
- Recommend services like PupPacks, pet insurance, virtual vet access, and AKC registration to enhance the customer experience and increase average order value
- Proactively manage your pipeline, follow up consistently, and never let a warm lead go cold
- Use HubSpot CRM and internal systems to manage all communications and maintain accurate lead, opportunity, and customer data across phone, chat, email, and SMS
- Consistently meet and exceed performance metrics including contact rate, conversion rate, sales volume, attach rate, and revenue generated
Skills
- 1–3 years of sales experience, ideally in a phone-based, high-volume, consumer-facing role
- Experience selling products that require urgency, trust, and the ability to guide people to a decision
- Ability to work from home
- Comfortable with multiple channels (chat, SMS, email)
- Strong communicator with a phone-first mindset and excellent follow-up habits
- Organized, disciplined, and accountable in a remote work environment
- Motivated by the opportunity to earn uncapped commission and grow your sales skill set
- Willingness to receive coaching, feedback, and structure
- Ability to manage a fast-moving day and work a lead list
- Lean into metrics and performance metrics including contact rate, conversion rate, sales volume, attach rate, and revenue generated
- Experience selling gym memberships, internet packages, pet services, insurance, or similar products
- Excited by structure, coaching, and performance-based culture
