TSR Consulting is seeking a Reinsurance Solution Analyst to perform Business Analyst responsibilities for a Reinsurance Administration application. The role involves gathering requirements, documenting business processes, and collaborating with internal teams to define integration requirements and support QA testing.
Responsibilities
• Gathering requirements and documenting Functional Specifications and User Interface documentation.
• Documenting as-is business processes using Microsoft Visio.
• Defining and documenting to-be business processes.
• Acting as the liaison between Business and IT.
• Collaborating with internal teams for analyzing cross-functional impacts and defining integration requirements.
• Providing support for QA testing and User Acceptance testing and defect resolution.
• Managing the backlog of enhancement requests in JIRA.
• Working with Business to prioritize enhancements.
Skills
• A minimum of 5 years Business Analyst experience.
• A minimum of 3 years working in Reinsurance, with solid Reinsurance Underwriting, Claims, and/or Accounting Business Acumen.
• Demonstrated experience in gathering, documenting, and prioritizing requirements.
• Strong analytical and problem-solving skills with the ability to exercise mature judgment. Strong attention to detail.
• Strong oral and written communication skills and ability to effectively communicate with stakeholders. Strong presentation skills.
• Ability to work independently and manage multiple assignments simultaneously.
• Experience collaborating with multiple stakeholders on large initiatives.
• Experience in Agile methodologies.
• Experience with the DXC SICS Application a plus.
