Labcorp is seeking a Customer Service Support Rep - Patient Customer Service within the Revenue Cycle Management Division to join our team. The role involves answering inbound calls from patients and healthcare providers, initiating payment plans, and resolving patient inquiries while maintaining performance goals.
Responsibilities
- Answer 80+ inbound calls per day from patients, doctor's office or private insurance carriers
- Initiate payment plans for patients for outstanding balances
- Routinely utilize multiple resources to resolve patient inquiries while on the phone
- Maintain performance goals
- Ability to become proficient with processes after completing a structured training program
Skills
- High School Diploma or GED equivalent
- 1 year or more customer service experience
- 1 year or more call center experience
- 1 year or more medical billing, insurance claims, and explanation of benefits
- 1 year or more patient billing
