Responsibilities
- Meet new business production goals and objectives as established
- Solicits for new business via telephone, networking, and other lead sources
- Maintain resiliency- you'll hear "No" a lot more than you hear "Yes"
- Develops insurance quotes, makes sales presentations, and closes sales
- Develop and cultivate ongoing networking relationships with Real Estate Agents, Mortgage Lenders, Auto Dealers, etc
- Earn, and then ask each customer for referrals and explain our referral program
- Maintain knowledge of new products
- Be outstanding at relationship building
Skills
- Possess a genuine willingness to learn, be intuitive and resourceful and be coachable
- Possess an upbeat, positive and enthusiastic attitude
- Use that positive attitude to push you. Because you'll hear 'No' 4-5 times more than you'll hear 'Yes', you have to be able to maintain drive and effort
- Be a great self-starter with a sense of urgency
- Be a fantastic presenter
- Confident, self-starter who works well independently
- Career minded vision-development towards Sales Leadership, Agency Management or even Agency Ownership is possible for the right candidate
