Note: The job is a remote job and is open to candidates in USA. Hyperdrive is seeking an Enterprise Agile Coach to support clients in adopting Agile methodologies. The role involves co-creating and implementing strategies for business units to improve Agile practices while working closely with executives and teams across various domains.
Responsibilities
• Help teams inspect, adapt, deliver, and mature
• Be highly entrepreneurial. Influence executives, leaders, business units, and technology teams on Agile principles, values, and how to build, grow, and maintain a thriving Agile organization at scale
• Extraordinary ability to communicate the value of Agility to clients (executives, managers, and individual contributors) while creating alignment across organizations
• Help connect the concepts of business strategy, operations, and Agility
• Agile Operating Models, Transformation, and Change Management
• Co-create, design, and support full Agile transformation rollouts
• Provide Agile Leadership coaching and training to ScrumMasters, Product Owners, functional managers, and executives
• Coach the squad which includes Business Leaders, Product Leaders, Technology Leaders, and executive sponsors on Portfolio Management, Program Management, and Planning
• Lead OKR alignment sessions, delivery reviews
• Guide transition from annual planning to continuous planning
• Embed Agile principles and product thinking within teams to drive delivery of integrated roadmaps, journey maps, and OKRs
• Coach teams and leaders in prioritizing by business outcomes and business value
• Balance the investment of discovery and delivery
• Create and manage backlogs for products and initiatives
• Support team-level ceremonies including business reviews and planning events
• Bridge business and technology, facilitating collaboration and shared understanding across domains
• Help teams develop skills and the mindset to create MVP mindsets including feature slicing techniques, and experimentation pipelines
• Strengthen delivery and product alignment across portfolios through shared cadences and visualized roadmaps
• Introduce feedback loops that integrate Analytics, NPS, teammate/athlete insights, and telemetry into iterative planning
• Coach through team dynamics and influence organizational behaviors toward the progress towards high performance
• Define, socialize, and coach the adoption of enterprise agility metrics: Strategy-to-execution traceability, Time to market, Learning velocity, Flow efficiency, OKR progression and alignment, Investment-to-outcome visibility
• Partner with the Agile CoE and Transformation Office to embed measurement into planning, retrospectives, and business reviews
• Help define and activate an adoption roadmap towards Agile and business agility fluency
• Mentor Team-level Agile Coaches across squads, promoting maturity through shared learning, frameworks, and impediment resolution
• Co-create coaching competency frameworks, Agile maturity models, and WoW transformation playbooks
• Model facilitation of vertical alignment between strategy and execution
• Partner with practice leads across the enterprise to understand their best practices and provide roadmap for teams to adopt
Skills
• There are TWO LOCATIONS: One in SF Bay Area (California) and one in the Philadelphia Metropolitan area. This position requires ON-SITE at the client location
• Previous consulting experience working with Finance/ Banking
• Applied Agile in NON-IT groups (you must have examples)
• Working with executives (VP and C-Level)
• You have held a role at Director-level (minimum)
• Experience with conducting client discovery and agile assessments
• Scaling agility across large enterprise organizations
• 5+ years of hands-on experience leading agile transformations
• 8+ years of Agile team experience
• 3+ years of large-scale Agile coaching experience with methods such as Scrum, Lean, or Kanban
• Be fluent in Lean Startup and/or Design Thinking
• Demonstrated proficiency in professional coaching techniques (ICF)
• Understanding of metrics and program performance measurement
• Deep knowledge of Agile principles and practices and the ability to transfer that understanding at all levels of the organization
• Certified ScrumMaster (CSM) and Product Owner (CSPO) or equivalent
• Certification and fluency in one or more of the following: SAFe, Scrum@Scale
• You're pragmatic and not overly theoretical/ academic
• Excellent presentation and training skills
• Consulting and facilitation skills in leading technical teams in the adoption and improvement of Agile methodologies
• Ability to connect theory with pragmatic examples from your experience (your personal ‘war stories')
