The Role at a Glance We are searching for a strategic, data‑obsessed CRM Marketing Manager to lead our lifecycle and retention marketing initiatives across email, SMS, direct mail, and loyalty programs. Reporting directly to the Marketing Director, you will own the end‑to‑end CRM strategy, translating deep customer insights into actionable, revenue‑generating campaigns that increase lifetime value, reduce churn, and amplify brand love. Key Responsibilities Strategic Leadership: Design, implement, and continuously refine a multi‑channel CRM roadmap that aligns with overall business objectives and growth targets. Campaign Development & Optimization: Drive the creation, execution, and A/B testing of email and SMS campaigns, leveraging advanced segmentation, personalization, and behavioral triggers to boost open, click‑through, and conversion rates. Data Integration & Analysis: Consolidate data from Klaviyo, Attentive, Shopify, Lifetimely, GA4, and Looker to surface actionable insights, track KPI trends, and forecast revenue impact. Automation & Behavioral Marketing: Build, test, and iterate automated flows (welcome series, post‑purchase, win‑back, cart abandonment, and VIP journeys) that nurture prospects into lifelong advocates. Loyalty & Referral Program Management: Partner with eCommerce and product teams to launch, monitor, and iterate a high‑impact loyalty and referral ecosystem, measuring program health through activation, redemption, and net promoter scores. Cross‑Functional Collaboration: Work closely with Paid Media, Site Merchandising, Product, and Customer Experience teams to align messaging, share learnings, and ensure a seamless, omnichannel customer journey. Reporting & Dashboarding: Own weekly, monthly, and quarterly performance reports; present insights to senior leadership with clear recommendations for budget allocation and strategic pivots. Team Development: Mentor and coach the Email Marketing Specialist, fostering a culture of curiosity, experimentation, and accountability within the CRM function. Customer Voice Integration: Lead regular survey initiatives, synthesize feedback, and translate findings into concrete improvements across touchpoints. Compliance & Deliverability: Ensure all communications meet regulatory standards (CAN‑SPAM, GDPR, TCPA) and maintain high deliverability and sender reputation. Essential Qualifications Education: Bachelor’s degree in Marketing, Communications, Business, or a related discipline. Experience: 3‑5 years of hands‑on CRM strategy and lifecycle marketing experience in an eCommerce environment, preferably within apparel or consumer‑goods brands. Leadership: Minimum 2 years of direct management experience, demonstrating the ability to develop talent and lead high‑performing teams. Technical Proficiency: Advanced expertise in Klaviyo and Attentive platforms; solid working knowledge of Shopify, Lifetimely, GA4, and data‑visualization tools such as Looker or Tableau. Analytical Acumen: Proven track record of using data to drive decision‑making; exceptional Excel/Google Sheets skills; ability to translate raw numbers into compelling stories. Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication, with confidence presenting findings to senior stakeholders and influencing cross‑functional partners. Preferred (But Not Mandatory) Skills & Experience Hands‑on experience with loyalty and referral platforms (e.g., Smile.io, Yotpo, LoyaltyLion). Familiarity with SMS compliance regulations and best‑practice messaging strategies. Experience building predictive models to forecast churn and lifetime value. Knowledge of HTML/CSS for email design and template customization. Previous work in a fully remote, globally distributed team environment.
