JOB DESCRIPTIONApex is seeking a highly experienced and strategic Technology Architect (Focused on AI) that will operate at the intersection of systems design and AI enablement — integrating AI into enterprise applications, platforms, and business workflows. This role will serve as a prominent expert at Apex, collaborating with internal and client project teams to offer strategic direction, designing, implementing, and supporting end-to-end technical solutions that align with business objectives, architectural principles, and technology standards. The Managing Consultant will also provide technical support for Apex sales, solution management, and account teams during the scoping of new opportunities. RESPONSIBLITIESArchitect end-to-end solutions that embed AI/ML components. Evaluate vendor platforms and APIs (e.g., Azure OpenAI, Google Vertex AI).Integrate AI into existing enterprise systems (ERP, CRM, analytics).Define reference architectures for AI adoption across the organization.Lead the design and implementation of scalable, secure, and maintainable solutions.Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure seamless integration.Guide development teams through execution, ensuring best practices.Create and maintain architectural documentation.Lead and mentor engineering teams.Stay current with emerging technologies and trends. JOB REQUIREMENTS10+ years of experience in enterprise architecture or development; 5+ in solution architecture.Strong understanding of authentication and authorization flows.Experience leading Agile teams.Excellent communication skills.BA/BS required in Computer Science or related field.
