RR Finance and Operations LLC is seeking an experienced Freelance Senior Accountant / Accounting Manager to support our growing client base, primarily nonprofits.
This is a remote, part-time freelance role with the potential for consistent, ongoing work.
Responsibilities
• Oversee day-to-day accounting activities for nonprofit clients
• Review and manage monthly close and financial reports
• Ensure accuracy of general ledger, reconciliations, and financial statements
• Support client communication and provide accounting guidance
• Collaborate with internal team and leadership
Requirements
• 5+ years of accounting experience (nonprofit experience strongly preferred)
• Strong knowledge of U.S. GAAP
• Experience managing or reviewing work of other accountants
• Excellent communication and organizational skills
• Comfortable working independently in a remote environment
Availability Requirement (Important)
• Candidates must be available during U.S. business hours (Monday–Friday)
• This role is not suitable for someone who already has a full-time job
• Availability during the day is required for meetings, collaboration, and client support
Hours & Compensation
• 25–35 hours per week, with flexibility based on workload
• Additional hours may be available as needed
• Hourly rate: $25–$35, based on experience
