Job Summary

We are seeking an exceptional Math Instructor/Tutor who is passionate about math and working with students. Key Responsibilities

Provide exceptional instruction/tutoring services to students, creating a supportive and inclusive learning environment that fosters academic excellence and personal growth.
Participate in positive interactions with parents, establishing a high level of confidence and program value, and communicating effectively with them about their child's progress.
Teach in-center using the Mathnasium Method? terminology and teaching practices, which include individualized instruction in a group setting, and assess students' progress throughout instructional sessions.
Work collaboratively with team members to deliver the best possible experience for students, evaluating, grading, and correcting student work and homework as needed.
Support the maintenance of a clean and professional learning environment, assisting with non-teaching/instructional tasks as required.

Essential Qualifications

A passion for math and working with students, with a strong desire to make a positive impact on their lives and academic achievement.
Excellent interpersonal skills, with the ability to communicate effectively with students, parents, and colleagues.
Exceptional math competency through at least Algebra I, with a strong understanding of mathematical concepts and principles.
Ability to balance various ongoing tasks, prioritize responsibilities, and manage time effectively in a fast-paced environment.
Willingness to learn and be trained in the Mathnasium Method?, with a commitment to ongoing professional development and growth.

Preferred Qualifications

Experience working with students of diverse ages, skill levels, and learning styles, with a proven track record of success in teaching or tutoring math.
