Job Overview and Responsibilities
As a Mathnasium Math Instructor, you will play a vital role in helping students gain confidence in their math skills, develop problem-solving strategies, and cultivate a positive attitude towards mathematics. Your primary responsibilities will include:

Essential Qualifications and Requirements
To be considered for this exciting opportunity, you must possess the following essential qualifications and skills:
- Math proficiency up to Algebra, with a strong foundation in mathematical concepts and principles
- Exceptional score on Mathnasium's Math Literacy exam, demonstrating a deep understanding of math concepts from 2nd grade and up
- Availability for at least 2 weekday shifts, with a minimum of 3-4 hours per shift, to accommodate our afterschool learning program
- Clear record on a state and national background check, ensuring the safety and well-being of our students
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with students, parents, and colleagues
Preferred Qualifications and Skills
While not essential, the following qualifications and skills are highly desirable:
- Proficiency in math up to Geometry and Calculus, with a strong understanding of advanced mathematical concepts and principles
