**Job Summary**
The Manager State & Higher Education will be responsible for coaching and professionally developing Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management. This role will also involve identifying candidates, hiring, onboarding, and training a sales organization of trusted advisors in the managed travel industry. As a key member of our team, you'll have the opportunity to learn, grow, and help pilot the future of arenaflex each day.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Coach and professionally develop Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to achieve sales and revenue growth targets
* Identify and recruit top talent to join our sales organization of trusted advisors in the managed travel industry
* Develop and implement effective onboarding and training programs to ensure new hires are equipped to succeed in their roles
* Establish and maintain strong relationships with State, Local, and Higher Education managed travel accounts to increase sales and revenue growth
* Collaborate with cross-functional teams to develop and implement strategic plans to achieve business objectives
* Analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
* Develop and implement effective sales strategies to increase revenue and market share
* Provide regular feedback and coaching to Field Government Account Managers and designated portfolio management to ensure they're meeting their sales and revenue growth targets
**Essential Qualifications**
* 5+ years of experience in sales, account management, or a related field
* Proven track record of success in sales and revenue growth
* Strong leadership and coaching skills, with the ability to develop and motivate high-performing teams
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to build strong relationships with customers and stakeholders
* Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to analyze sales data and market trends to identify opportunities for growth and improvement
* Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing priorities and deadlines
* Strong knowledge of the managed travel industry and its trends and challenges
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working in the airline or travel industry
* Strong understanding of sales and revenue growth strategies and tactics
* Experience developing and implementing effective onboarding and training programs

* Experience working in a remote or virtual environment

**Work Environment and Company Culture**
As a remote work opportunity, this role will require occasional travel for training, meetings, conferences, etc. Outside of those required visits, the majority of your working time will be spent in a remote location, away from our Corporate Campus. **Compensation, Perks, and Benefits**
arenaflex offers a competitive compensation package, including:
* Salary: $80,000 - $110,000 per year
* Bonus: up to 20% of annual salary
