Job Overview As a live chat customer support assistant at blithequark, you will play a vital role in providing top-notch support to our customers through online chat on our website and social media channels. This is an entry-level position, and we offer comprehensive training to ensure your success in this role. Your primary responsibilities will include responding to customer inquiries, offering promotional discounts, and providing helpful resources and information to create a positive customer experience and drive sales. Key Responsibilities Respond to live chat messages from customers on blithequark's website and social media channels in a timely and efficient manner Provide accurate and helpful information to address customer inquiries and concerns Offer promotional discounts and special offers to customers as per blithequark's policies and procedures Provide helpful resources and information to customers to resolve their issues and improve their overall experience Work independently to manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously while maintaining a high level of customer satisfaction Closely follow provided steps and instructions to ensure consistency and quality in customer support Collaborate with other team members to share knowledge, best practices, and feedback to continuously improve customer support services Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you must have: A device able to access social media and website chat functions (Phone/Tablet/Laptop) Ability to work independently with minimal supervision Strong communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Ability to closely follow provided steps and instructions Reliable internet connection to ensure uninterrupted service Availability of at least 5 hours per week to work on a flexible schedule Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following skills and qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer support or a related field Familiarity with social media platforms and website chat functions Basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns Skills and Competencies To excel in this role, you should possess: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to effectively interact with customers and team members Strong problem-solving and analytical skills to resolve customer complaints and concerns Ability to work independently with minimal supervision and manage multiple chat conversations simultaneously Basic knowledge of sales and marketing principles to promote products and services and drive sales Adaptability and flexibility to work in a fast-paced environment and adapt to changing situations Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to the growth and development of our team members.
