As a strategic sourcing specialist, you'll be part of a dynamic crew responsible for the strategic sourcing of Professional Services for arenaflex, building relationships with key executives, advising on market engagement to identify the best dealer partners, leading deal negotiations, and assisting to optimize cross-functional dealer relationships.
**Responsibilities**
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist, you'll be responsible for growing and implementing strategic sourcing costs and contractual preparations through aggressive bids and agreement negotiations. This includes:
* Participating and leading cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders
* Evaluating providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria
* Developing and leading RFI/RFP process for professional services according to arenaflex policies and procedures
* Analyzing bids based on overall cost/delivery to identify opportunities to obtain the best value
* Preparing and executing clear, data-driven negotiation techniques using Strategic Sourcing methodology
* Preparing and executing contracts, as well as performing post-award administration
* Understanding and supporting the development and execution of performance control applications with providers that focus on quality, responsiveness, and cost
* Ensuring compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
* Communicating and documenting to management the reputation of any critical external relationships that may impact planning and decision-making
* Analyzing market trends and conditions that affect internal stakeholders and external providers and/or pricing
* Participating in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with current business best practices
* Demonstrating exemplary integrity and ethics in all instances
* Showing expertise with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
**Key Skills and Qualifications**
* 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience with a minimum of 2 years of professional services class sourcing
* Ability to engage with and establish relationships with personnel at all levels
* Strong strategic agility
* Strong analytical skills
* Excellent written and oral communication skills
* Strong negotiation skills
* Ability to collaborate in a team environment
* Internal client awareness
* Ability/choice to work in various environments
* Ability to handle ambiguity
* Knowledge of:
+ Sourcing & Procurement processes
+ Basic legal terms and conditions
+ Entertainment industry trends and conditions
+ Proven expertise with all aspects of the sourcing process for professional services agreements
+ Established experience working with the legal department on subjects regarding boilerplate revisions to terms and conditions
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience working with and/or for companies that offer consulting and advisory services
* Professional Services Sourcing history is a plus
* Consulting/Advisory history is a plus
**Required Education**
* Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or related field
