About the Role
As a Senior Sourcing Specialist at Blithequark, you will play a critical role in shaping our strategic sourcing strategy, developing and implementing cost-effective sourcing solutions, and fostering strong relationships with key stakeholders. You will work closely with business leaders to identify and mitigate risks, optimize contract negotiations, and drive process improvements. Your expertise will help us make informed decisions, drive business growth, and stay ahead of the competition.
Key Responsibilities
- Lead cross-functional sourcing initiatives with key internal stakeholders to drive strategic sourcing decisions
- Evaluate providers and experts based on pre-determined selection criteria, ensuring best-in-class solutions
- Develop and execute RFI/RFP processes for professional services, adhering to Blithequark's policies and procedures
- Analyze bids to identify opportunities for cost savings and optimal value delivery
- Prepare and execute clear, value-based negotiation strategies utilizing Strategic Sourcing methodology
- Develop, execute, and administer contracts, ensuring compliance with regulations and best practices
- Collaborate with stakeholders to design and implement performance management programs with providers
- Ensure compliance with Sourcing and Procurement regulations and best practices
- Communicate and document the status of key external relationships to inform planning and decision-making
- Analyze market trends and conditions to anticipate their impact on internal stakeholders and external providers
- Participate in professional development activities to stay up-to-date with industry best practices
- Demonstrate exemplary integrity and ethics in all interactions
Requirements and Qualifications
Basic Qualifications
- 5+ years of strategic sourcing experience, with a minimum of 2 years in services category sourcing
- Strong strategic agility and analytical skills
- Excellent written and oral communication skills
- Strong negotiation and influencing skills
- Ability to collaborate in a team environment and build relationships with personnel at all levels
- Internal client awareness and ability to work in diverse environments
- Knowledge of sourcing and procurement processes, basic legal terms and conditions, and entertainment industry trends
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience working with companies that provide consulting and advisory services
- Professional Services Sourcing background
- Consulting/Advisory experience
Education
- Bachelor's Degree in Business, Supply Chain, Finance, or a related field
