**Job Summary**
We're seeking an experienced Full Stack Product Development Manager to lead our team of designers and engineers in the development of our Alexa Interface Pack (ACK). As a Product Development Manager, you'll be responsible for leading and fostering a high-performing team that can design and develop complex IoT devices and systems. You'll work closely with our product managers, senior leaders, and clients to define and deliver the technical vision and execution plans for our products.
**Key Responsibilities**
* Lead and manage a dynamic and full-stack team of designers and engineers, including Quality Assurance Specialists and Support Designers
* Collaborate with product managers, senior leaders, and clients to define and deliver the technical vision and execution plans for our products
* Develop and implement strategies to improve the design and development processes for IoT devices and systems
* Work closely with our engineering teams to design and develop complex IoT devices and systems
* Collaborate with our quality assurance team to ensure that our products meet the highest standards of quality and reliability
* Develop and maintain relationships with our clients and stakeholders to ensure that their needs are met and exceeded
* Stay up-to-date with the latest trends and technologies in the IoT industry and apply that knowledge to improve our products and services
**Essential Qualifications**
* 3+ years of experience in product development and management, with a focus on IoT devices and systems
* 3+ years of experience in leading and managing a team of designers and engineers
* 3+ years of experience in driving the definition and development of multi-level web services
* Strong knowledge of design practices and patterns for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle, including coding guidelines, code audits, source control management, build processes, testing, validation, and deployment
* Experience working with product or program management teams to define and deliver products
* Experience planning or architecting (design patterns, reliability, and scaling) of new and existing systems
**Preferred Qualifications**
* Experience in communicating with clients, other technical teams, and senior management to gather requirements, describe software product features, technical plans, and product processes
* Experience in recruiting, hiring, training, and managing teams of programmers to improve their skills and make them more effective
* Experience in developing and implementing strategies to improve the design and development processes for IoT devices and systems
* Strong knowledge of Agile development methodologies and experience in implementing them in a team environment
**Skills and Competencies**
* Strong leadership and management skills, with the ability to motivate and inspire a team of designers and engineers
* Excellent communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with clients, stakeholders, and team members
* Strong problem-solving and analytical skills, with the ability to identify and resolve complex technical issues
* Strong knowledge of design patterns and practices for the full software/hardware/networks development life cycle
* Experience with Agile development methodologies and tools, such as Jira, Asana, and Trello
* Strong knowledge of IoT devices and systems, including hardware and software components, and experience in designing and developing complex IoT systems
