Key Responsibilities
- Contribute directly to sales and margin objectives within assigned categories, analyzing key data and integrating findings into Class Plans to drive marketing programs.
- Develop and execute daily plan activities, including tracking sales performance, monitoring promotional effectiveness, and making data-driven decisions.
- Collaborate with internal teams, including Stock, Estimating, Advancement, Finance, Store Brands, Store Design, Advertising, and Store Operations to drive business growth.
- Analyze sales data and inventory levels to identify trends and opportunities for improvement.
- Create and maintain a thorough understanding of the competitive landscape, identifying new opportunities and making recommendations for growth.
- Stay up-to-date with market trends, customer preferences, and competitor activity.
- Conduct research on customer behavior, provider costs, and market dynamics to inform marketing strategies.
Essential Qualifications
- Working knowledge of retail math concepts and demonstrated application.
- Technical proficiency in MS Office, Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and some experience with databases or data analysis tools.
- Willingness to travel 5-10% for business purposes.
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to interpret complex data sets.
- Excellent communication and collaboration skills, with experience working with cross-functional teams.
