About the Role
As a Global Marketplace Analyst Intern at blithequark, you will be part of the Content Operations & Innovation organization, which helps deliver content to our members through efficient operational workflows and execution. You will work closely with the Netfx team, a developing go-functional visual consequences (VFX) initiative built on blithequark's innovative platform. Your primary responsibilities will include:
- Conducting comprehensive evaluations of current transactional and digital marketplaces
- Researching and examining industry trends and competitive landscapes for worldwide marketplaces
- Providing insights and hints based on marketplace analysis to aid strategic decision-making
- Collaborating with senior team members to plot and refine competitive pricing strategies
- Assisting in developing financial models to evaluate enterprise performance and assess capability situations
- Contributing to forecasting and budgeting procedures to assist financial making plans efforts
- Collaborating with teams across departments to recognize business opportunities
- Participating in meetings and shows to share findings and pointers
Key Responsibilities
Marketplace Analysis and Research
- Conduct in-depth analysis of global marketplaces, identifying key trends, opportunities, and challenges
- Research and examine industry developments, competitor activity, and market shifts
- Provide actionable insights and recommendations to inform business decisions
Financial Modeling and Planning
- Assist in developing financial models to evaluate enterprise performance and assess capability situations
- Contribute to forecasting and budgeting procedures to support financial planning efforts
- Collaborate with teams to identify areas for cost optimization and process improvements
Collaboration and Communication
- Work closely with senior team members, cross-functional teams, and stakeholders to drive business outcomes
- Participate in meetings, shows, and presentations to share findings and insights
- Develop strong relationships with team members and stakeholders, fostering a collaborative and inclusive environment
Requirements and Qualifications
Essential Qualifications
- Currently enrolled in a university program ( undergraduate or graduate)
- Strong interest in working within the movie and entertainment industry
- Basic knowledge of computers and familiarity with software programs, including Google Suite (e.g., Gmail, Docs, Sheets) and Microsoft Office (e.g., Word, Excel)
- Collaborative and able to work in a fast-paced environment
- Self-motivated and able to take initiative to work independently
- Attention to detail and practices true judgment
- Curious about learning new technologies and workflows
- Ability to maintain confidentiality and utmost discretion while being privy to sensitive facts
Preferred Qualifications
- Experience in global marketplace evaluation and platform (customer/settler) experience
- Familiarity with data analysis tools and techniques
- Strong analytical and problem-solving skills
- Excellent communication and presentation skills
