As a key member of our team, you'll play a vital role in driving the progress of our marketing efforts by providing actionable insights, industry-leading analytics, and access to the data, tools, and expertise needed for independent direction and optimization. You'll collaborate with our friends in marketing, research, product, design, and finance across all stages of the process: identifying new opportunities, refining the customer experience, analyzing the impact of our efforts, and highlighting areas for improvement. Ultimately, your contributions will help strengthen arenaflex and drive continuous improvement of the Etsy experience. **What Does the Everyday Look Like?** As a Data Researcher, you'll be responsible for: * Creating, implementing, and refining core marketing analytics models and frameworks, including attribution, lift, CLV, ROI, A/B testing, and segmentation. * Developing and executing systems for measuring the performance of marketing partners by transforming raw data into actionable and effective analyses presented through clear documentation, service, and method clarity. * Playing a critical role in determining how we can best engage and grow Etsy customers by analyzing behavior and conditional data to identify opportunities for growth. * Identifying key metrics that drive the performance of marketing channels and marketing products, making these available to partners through dashboards and reports, and driving these metrics through statistical analysis of experiments. * Continuously assessing and refining your technical toolkit, sharing your knowledge with the team. **This is just a taste of the types of work this role will require!** You should expect that your job will involve additional tasks, and that your work responsibilities and obligations may change from time to time at arenaflex's discretion, or as required by local law. **What We're Looking For:** To succeed in this role, you'll need: * 3+ years of demonstrated experience as a data researcher/analyst or in a quantitative role where you extracted insights from large data sets with minimal design support. * Experience with execution/digital marketing initiatives, channel attribution, stir and lifetime value models, statistical tools and frameworks, and finding effective growth systems. * Proficiency in SQL and either R or Python.
