Job Overview

We are seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Data Entry Specialist to join our team at arenaflex. As a key member of our functional team, you will be responsible for accurately entering data from various sources into our computer systems, ensuring the smooth operation of our company. This role requires a high level of organization, critical thinking, and attention to detail, as well as the ability to work independently with minimal supervision. Key Responsibilities

• Read and interpret customer and shipping orders submitted in person, via print catalog, and online, including deciphering handwriting that can be hard to read
• Accurately key data into specific Microsoft Excel fields, ensuring consistency in format and verifying information before entry
• Read and key in data from other source documents, including work orders and customer service documents
• Verify the accuracy of data before entering it into the system and ensure that data is consistent throughout the system
• Report any data errors or anomalies to your supervisor and maintain accurate and updated logs of ongoing work
• Perform filing, copying, and other administrative duties for approximately three hours per day, with the remaining five hours dedicated to data entry keying

Essential Qualifications

To be successful in this role, you will require:

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Word, Excel, PowerPoint, and Outlook
• Strong reading comprehension and critical thinking skills
• Excellent organizational and communication skills
• Patience and attention to detail, with the ability to work on repetitive tasks for extended periods

Preferred Qualifications

While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred:

• Reading knowledge of English, with approximately 5-10% of orders also in Spanish
• One to two years of experience in data entry and/or filing
• Social perceptiveness and service orientation, with a focus on delivering exceptional customer service
