We are seeking an experienced Data Entry Operator to join our team in Farmington Hills, MI. As a Data Entry Operator at blithequark, you will play a critical role in entering claims and eligibility records into our system, processing claims, and updating/correcting file information. You will be responsible for retrieving and reconciling information in files when claims are rejected by the system, determining whether inaccurate data should be updated, routed, or adjudicated, and correcting and updating claim information entered through the optical scanning or data entry process.
To be successful in this role, you must possess a high school diploma or equivalent and have at least one year of work experience in an office environment. You must also be able to enter a minimum of 7,000 keystrokes per hour with 95% accuracy (6,650 correct keystrokes per hour). Additionally, you must have successfully completed a data entry test sponsored by Human Resources within the past 12 months (test waived if you currently hold or have previously held a position that meets this requirement).
To excel in this role, you must possess strong technical skills, including proficiency in Microsoft Office and data entry software. You must also have excellent analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to troubleshoot issues and resolve problems in a timely and efficient manner. Additionally, you must have strong communication and interpersonal skills, with the ability to work effectively with colleagues, customers, and other stakeholders.
