Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at arenaflex, your primary duties will include: Providing excellent customer service by explaining policy coverage, claim status, and assisting with claim payments or other policy information to policyholders and/or interested third parties. Engaging in heavy phone contact with policyholders, providers, and interested third parties to address their queries and concerns. Processing policyholder requests received through correspondence, phone calls, and emails in a timely and efficient manner. Reviewing and maintaining new and revised procedures regarding policy information to stay updated on the latest developments. Maintaining department standards for the number of calls, average handle time, and time management to ensure productivity and efficiency. Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you should possess: A high school diploma or equivalent; some college education is preferred. At least one year of office experience, with telecommunications experience being a plus. A background and knowledge of life and health insurance operations are desired, but not mandatory. Excellent communication skills, both written and oral, to effectively interact with policyholders and other stakeholders. Strong organization skills to manage multiple tasks and prioritize responsibilities. The ability to maintain confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion. Excellent alpha and number recognition skills, along with demonstrated mathematical abilities. Basic PC skills and the ability to learn new software applications. Preferred Qualifications While not required, the following qualifications are preferred: Previous experience in customer service, particularly in the insurance industry. Knowledge of insurance policies, claim procedures, and relevant regulations. Experience with remote work or a proven ability to work independently with minimal supervision.
