As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, you will be responsible for answering inbound customer service calls related to patient accounting questions. When inbound call volumes are low, you may make outbound follow-up calls on outstanding accounts receivable. Your primary goal will be to provide exceptional customer service, resolve customer inquiries, and ensure that our customers receive the support they need in a timely and professional manner.
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess exceptional customer service skills, including effective and efficient problem-solving and analyzing skills. You should have a professional and calming tone of voice, complete command of the English language, and the ability to facilitate conversations with others and establish an understanding of the customer's issue or reason for contact.
We are seeking candidates with a high school education or equivalent, and 1-2 years of prior experience in an inbound call center and/or customer service environment. Hospital patient account billing experience or knowledge of 3rd party reimbursements from insurance companies and government payers is a plus.
The physical demands of this role require the ability to sit at a computer terminal for extended periods. The work environment is a call center with a headset and multiple workstations within close proximity. Hospital environment may include direct patient interaction.

We offer a competitive compensation package, including a pay range of $15.80 - $23.70 per hour, depending on location, qualifications, and experience. You may also be eligible for a signing bonus, and we observe holidays with time and a half pay.
