Full-time associates in role are also eligible for an annual bonus incentive. Coordinates administrative function and communicates the operating team’s needs with supporting department corporate leadership. Partners with regional and home office cross-functional leaders to find solutions to field challenges through resource allocations, process enhancements, compliance follow-up, coordination of initiatives and communication of key company strategies in order to meet company performance expectations by business units. Influences operational actions to maximize company profitability while improving top-line occupancy and rate, customer and associate satisfaction and retention, within a framework of operational effectiveness acts as a continual source of actionable intelligence for all disciplines including Operations, Sales, Clinical, and Asset Management - Supports the Sr. Vice President or Regional Director of Operations in any and all duties and assigned projects, recommending business strategies and tactics aligned to achievement of performance expectations.  - Coordinates the development and implementation of plans and objectives for the assigned community functions consistent with the company’s goals.  - Identifies and supports the development of high impact value-adds analysis on business drivers, trends, and risk/opportunities by utilizing both internal and external data and provide actionable intelligence and areas for improvement to region leadership team and action to maximize results for the communities - Drives analysis of revenue mix and impact on profitability. Identifies and implements opportunities to strategically negotiate rates up or down based on changes in market conditions, new competition, quality of referral sources and other competitive factors - Assists all regional offices with preparation for state survey and licensing.  - Drives ROI analysis to ensure that resources are being deployed in the most strategic way and with the highest returns.  - Partners with Accounts Receivable, Business Office trainers and associates, Operations and Sales Leaders to maximize timely collection of balances due for intended cash flow from operations. - Leads in capital budget planning activities, inclusive of raising awareness of identified needs and recommending priorities while considering capital funding source and any lease or ownership structures that influence the opportunity for achieving a needed return from any capital investments. - Serves as liaison to Home Office teams with an approved Strategic Initiative that has potential impact to field operations, ensuring proper planning and implementation, and to raise awareness of competing priorities so that field and community teams can focus mainly on daily delivery of our mission and achievement of performance expectations. Manages workflow approval processes as the last step for Operations approval for large pending financial transactions, questioning as needed the business impact of the proposed incentives, discounts or A/R write-offs.      - Works with VPO/RDO and community leaders in actions related to the addition or deletion of business units from Brookdale’s portfolio. Provides recommendations that consider geographic mapping details, span of control limitations and potential revenue responsibility implications of various alternatives.    This job description represents an overview of the responsibilities for the above referenced position. Qualifications Education and Experience Bachelor’s degree in Healthcare Administration or similar discipline preferred, or required Bachelor'sdegree from four-year University with two to four years of combined field operations and/or home office leadership experience.   Certifications, Licenses, and Other Special Requirements Must have a valid driver’s license and access to a private vehicle for business use. Must be licensed according to state requirements. Must be able to travel by air on company business, as required by the responsibilities and expectations of the job.   Management/Decision Making Uses strong analytic skills and an in-depth understanding of the organization and the business in order to lead others in strategic and tactical decisions and actions to achieve company objectives. Makes recommendations regarding overall business improvement and function of division communities and field support.   Knowledge and Skills Has an advanced knowledge of the organization, industry, and one or more functional disciplines. Extensive understanding of technical areas gained through experience and used to complete and/or oversee assignments. Proficiency with Brookdale systems, Microsoft and other business software applications required.
