Key Responsibilities As a Customer Service Representative at blithequark, your key responsibilities will include: Greeting customers, running the register, and cashiering Making purchase suggestions and working with our food program Maintaining our high standards for store appearance and providing fast and friendly service to our customers Working effectively as part of a team to accomplish daily tasks and goals Providing regular and predictable onsite attendance Interacting with many customers daily, all while working with a fun, energetic team Essential Qualifications To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications: Ability to provide excellent customer care and communicate effectively with customers Strong communication and friendly conversation skills Ability to work at a quick pace while maintaining a high level of accuracy and attention to detail Ability to work effectively as part of a team to accomplish daily goals and tasks Ability to come up with great ideas to solve problems and think quickly on your feet Preferred Qualifications While not essential, the following qualifications are preferred: Retail and customer service experience Sales associate or cashiering experience High school diploma or equivalent Motivation to advance in your career and a willingness to learn and have fun Physical Requirements The physical requirements for this role include: Ability to stand and/or walk for up to 8 hours Lift and/or carry up to 30 pounds from ground to overhead up to 30 minutes in a shift Occasionally lift and/or carry up to 60 pounds from ground to waist level Push/pull with arms up to a force of 20 pounds Bend at the waist with some twisting up to one hour a shift Grasp, reach, and manipulate objects with hands, which requires eye-hand coordination and may require climbing a ladder to store and retrieve materials or place and remove signs Skills and Competencies To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following skills and competencies: Strong customer service skills and a passion for delivering exceptional customer experiences Excellent communication and interpersonal skills Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment and prioritize tasks and responsibilities Strong problem-solving and analytical skills Ability to work effectively as part of a team and build strong relationships with colleagues and customers Career Growth Opportunities and Learning Benefits At blithequark, we are committed to providing our employees with opportunities for career growth and development.
