Job Description Summary
We are seeking an experienced and skilled Channel Marketing Manager – Mutual Funds to join our team. The successful candidate will be responsible for designing and implementing strategic marketing campaigns to promote the sale of Transamerica Mutual Funds and drive engagement with financial professionals. This role involves product marketing, brand affinity, and the launch of new products/solutions, requiring a deep understanding of marketing principles, financial services, and the ability to work collaboratively with cross-functional teams.
Key Responsibilities
- Partner with the Marketing Director to design and execute strategic marketing campaigns that support business objectives, ensuring alignment with overall marketing strategies and goals.
- Own the design, build, and implementation of multiple complex and concurrent campaigns, managing timelines, budgets, and resource allocation effectively.
- Collaborate with Sales and Product stakeholders to develop new content related to Transamerica Mutual Funds and capital markets concepts, ensuring that all marketing materials are accurate, engaging, and relevant to the target audience.
- Conduct market research to define target audiences and create programs that drive engagement, using data and insights to inform marketing decisions and optimize campaign performance.
- Track and evaluate program effectiveness using qualitative and quantitative methods, providing regular reports and recommendations for improvement to stakeholders.
- Ensure adherence to established processes and workflows related to end-to-end campaign strategy, creative execution, optimizing for performance, and troubleshooting, with the ability to define new processes and workflows as needed.
- Collaborate with cross-functional leaders to ensure delivery of superior customer service and operational excellence, serving as an internal escalation point for campaign-related issues.
Essential Qualifications
- Bachelor's degree in Marketing, Business, Communications, or equivalent experience, with a strong foundation in marketing principles and practices.
- Eight years of marketing communications, digital marketing, or project management experience, with a proven track record of success in managing complex marketing campaigns.
- Three years of marketing experience in financial services, preferably in Mutual Fund or Asset Management, with a deep understanding of the industry, its trends, and regulatory requirements.
- Thorough understanding of the creative process for developing content, with the ability to design campaigns that optimize the use of marketing platforms and tools.
- Detail-oriented and able to manage and prioritize multiple projects at once, with excellent organizational skills and the ability to work under pressure.
- Technical acumen to design campaigns that optimize the use of marketing platforms, with proficiency in marketing software and technologies.
- Analytical and decision-making skills to identify and prioritize critical issues, with the ability to analyze data, draw insights, and make informed decisions.
- Creative thinker with excellent communication and relationship-building skills, able to collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams and external partners.
Preferred Qualifications
- Team lead/supervisory experience, with the ability to motivate and guide team members to achieve marketing goals and objectives.
- Intermediary or institutional experience, with a deep understanding of the financial services industry and its various distribution channels.
- Familiarity with content management, workflow, and other marketing tools such as CMD, CRM, DAM, Workflow, Salesforce Marketing Cloud, and Workfront.
- Experience in change management, with the ability to adapt to changing market conditions, regulatory requirements, and business needs.
- FINRA Series 7 (for roles supporting mutual funds), with a strong understanding of financial regulations and compliance requirements.

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
We offer a competitive compensation package, including a salary range of $94,000 - $125,000 annually, depending on experience and qualifications. Additionally, this position is eligible for an Annual Bonus of 15% based on the Company Bonus Plan/Individual Performance, providing a rewarding opportunity to earn additional income based on your contributions to the company's success.
