About the Role
As a Business Operations Manager, you will be the driving force behind the planning, execution, and delivery of major global supply chain projects and initiatives that impact cross-functional teams. Your expertise will be instrumental in defining business requirements and solutions, ensuring seamless collaboration with key stakeholders, and driving program governance. You will be responsible for leading change management, training, and communications, as well as developing and managing budgets, workforce plans, and recognition and retention initiatives.
Key Responsibilities
- Leadership: Establish goals for the senior leadership workgroup, develop organizational capability, and model leadership behaviors grounded in the Starbucks Mission and Values.
- Program Governance: Drive project and change management responsibilities connected with programs crossing multiple functional areas and capabilities.
- Stakeholder Engagement: Ensure that partners are informed and engaged, and are responsible for all partner engagement activities and communication delivery.
- Strategic Planning: Develop strategic and operational plans for the senior leadership workgroup, manage execution, and measure results.
- Collaboration: Work closely with functional, regional, and program leadership to align the organization for successful deployment of large-scale initiatives.
- Change Management: Identify issues that need to be resolved and advocate for change initiatives.
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need:
- A Bachelor's degree (MBA preferred) in a relevant field.
- Advanced proficiency in core technology tools like Microsoft Office and virtual collaboration tools.
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in business process design, program or project implementation, strategic planning, and business framework and process improvement.
- Proven leadership experience, with a minimum of 5 years of managing diverse workgroups and working across organizational boundaries at all levels, including executive positions.
