Key Responsibilities
- Empower students to reach their full potential by providing personalized attention and guidance in a virtual setting
- Deliver high-quality tutoring sessions to students in a 1:1-1:3 setting using our Littera Virtual platform
- Utilize our provided curriculum to create engaging and effective lesson plans, with no lesson planning required
- Collaborate with our team of tutors and managers to ensure student success and continuous improvement
- Maintain consistent availability, with a minimum of four days per week (Monday to Friday) and a set schedule of availability at the same times each day
Essential Qualifications
To be successful in this role, you will need to possess the following essential qualifications:
- Relevant experience empowering K-12 school-aged learners, with a strong background in math, reading, or both
- Proficiency in using online virtual tools and technology, with excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Availability to work a consistent schedule, with a minimum of four days per week (Monday to Friday) and a set schedule of availability at the same times each day
- Reliable high-speed internet connection, desktop/laptop (Chrome browser), headset with a microphone, and a quiet tutoring space
- Location in the United States, with the ability to work remotely and participate in virtual training and meetings
Preferred Qualifications
While not required, the following preferred qualifications will be considered an asset:
- Experience working with students who require additional support, such as English language learners or students with special needs
- Familiarity with our Littera Virtual platform, or similar online tutoring software
- Completion of an algebra assessment, with the ability to tutor high school Algebra I series for $22 per hour
- Previous experience working in a remote or virtual environment, with excellent time management and organizational skills

Compensation, Perks, and Benefits
