Job Title: Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Application Analyst Start Date: ASAP Duration: 6-Month Contract-to-Hire Daily Working Hours: Full-Time Travel: Remote • Work authorization: Must be eligible to work in the U.S. without company sponsorship • No Third Parties Please Project Scope We are seeking an Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) Application Analyst to support configuration, optimization, and maintenance of Epic financial applications within a healthcare environment. This role will support revenue cycle operations by ensuring the Epic Resolute HB system aligns with operational billing workflows and organizational goals. Position Summary The Epic Resolute HB Application Analyst supports Epic revenue cycle applications by serving as a liaison between system end users, operational leadership, vendors, and technical teams. The analyst will design, build, test, implement, and optimize assigned applications while ensuring operational workflows are accurately supported. This role requires strong healthcare revenue cycle knowledge, Epic application expertise, and the ability to support medium- to high-complexity system implementations and enhancements. Key Responsibilities • Configure, maintain, and optimize Epic Resolute Hospital Billing applications. • Serve as liaison between operational departments, end users, technical teams, and vendors. • Analyze business requirements and workflows to design appropriate system solutions. • Participate in planning, implementation, and go-live activities for assigned applications. • Conduct workflow discovery sessions, gather specifications, identify process gaps, and support workflow design. • Demonstrate Epic foundation build concepts and assist with system configuration decisions. • Track risks, issues, and system requests during project and operational support activities. • Support system testing activities by executing test scripts and documenting issues or deficiencies. • Participate in application upgrades, system optimization, and operational improvement initiatives. • Monitor and manage support tickets, ensuring issues are resolved within established service levels. • Assist operational teams with workflow adoption and system utilization improvements. • Participate in downtime testing procedures and validation activities. • Support development of training materials and assist with end-user training activities when necessary. • Maintain accurate documentation of system changes, support activities, and application knowledge. • Participate in departmental and cross-functional team meetings and contribute to project discussions. Qualifications Education • Associate or Bachelor’s degree preferred with focus in Healthcare, Business, or Information Systems. Experience & Skills • Prior analyst experience supporting hospital inpatient billing systems required. • Strong understanding of hospital billing office operations and revenue cycle management. • Experience with Epic Resolute Hospital Billing (HB) preferred. • Understanding of revenue cycle workflows and how billing operations integrate with other hospital departments. • Ability to analyze operational workflows and translate them into system solutions. • Strong communication, teamwork, and problem-solving skills. • Ability to manage multiple priorities while maintaining high accuracy and service quality. • Proficiency with Microsoft Office applications including Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.
