Job Description:
Blue Joule Corporation is seeking a motivated Entry-Level Draftsman to join our engineering team. This role will support the design and development of technical drawings and models using SolidWorks. The ideal candidate is detail-oriented, eager to learn, and has a strong foundation in drafting and design principles.
Responsibilities:
Create and modify 2D drawings and 3D models using SolidWorks
Collaborate with engineers and project managers to support design requirements
Revise drawings based on feedback and project updates
Maintain organized documentation of drawings and revisions
Ensure accuracy and adherence to company and industry standards
Qualifications:
United States citizenship is required due to the nature of our work
Associate’s or Bachelor’s degree in Drafting, Engineering Technology, or a related field (or equivalent experience)
Intermediate proficiency in SolidWorks
Basic understanding of engineering drawings and drafting standards
Strong attention to detail and organizational skills
Good communication and willingness to learn
Preferred Qualifications:
Internship or academic project experience using SolidWorks
Familiarity with manufacturing or engineering environments
