About the Role: Dental CAD Wax Rim Designer
We're seeking a highly skilled Dental CAD Wax Rim Designer to join our dynamic team. As a Wax Rim Designer, you will play a crucial role in creating precise bite rims based on scans received from dental practitioners. This position requires a unique blend of technical expertise, dental knowledge, and meticulous attention to detail. Key Responsibilities:
- Design dental Wax Rims using 3Shape software: Based on scans and prescriptions from dentists, you will create accurate and high-quality wax rim designs that meet the required specifications.
- Ensure high accuracy and quality: Review and verify designs to ensure precision, accuracy, and adherence to dental standards.
- Adhere to design specifications and turnaround times: Manage your workflow efficiently to meet deadlines and deliver designs within the specified timeframe.
- Collaborate with team members and communicate effectively: Work closely with cross-functional teams, including dental practitioners and internal stakeholders, to ensure seamless communication and design delivery.
Requirements and Qualifications:
To excel in this role, you should possess the following qualifications and experience:
- 3Shape software experience: A minimum of 3 years of experience with 3Shape software, specifically in one of the following modules:
- Abutment/Bars Designer
- Dental Designer (Crown & Bridge)
- Full Denture Designer
- Implant Planning/Guided Surgery
- Removables (Partial Dentures, Acrylic, and/or Metal)
- Blender and Meshmixer software experience: 1 year of experience with Blender software and 1 year of experience with Meshmixer software.
- Fluency in English: Excellent written and spoken English skills.
Preferred Skills and Competencies:
While not mandatory, the following skills and competencies will significantly enhance your candidacy:
- Strong problem-solving skills: The ability to analyze and resolve design-related issues efficiently.
- Excellent time management abilities: Effective prioritization and management of multiple design projects to meet deadlines.
