All Jobs  >  Account Resolution Support Specialist I Currance Inc Apply Account Resolution Support Specialist I Fully Remote • Remote Apply Description This is a remote position.We’re looking for great talent from and can accept applicants living in:AR, AZ, CA, CO, CT, FL, GA, IA, IL, MN, MO, NC, NJ, NE, NV, OK, PA, SD, TN, TX, VA, WA, WIJob Overview The Account Resolution Support Specialist is responsible for managing all incoming and outgoing payer correspondence, updating accounts based on documentation received, and supporting the resolution of outstanding claims to improve revenue cycle performance. Job Duties & Responsibilities •Sort, organize, and process incoming payer and patient correspondence delivered via lockbox imaging, scanning tools, email, fax, and digital queues. •Ensure timely distribution to downstream teams while working in virtual queues and managing electronic worklists. •Note correspondence daily by accurately updating patient accounts with information received from payers, attorneys, or third parties. •Identify trends within correspondence that may impact revenue and escalate issues or recommend corrective action to leadership. •Resolve correspondence that requires a one touch resolution such as medical record requests. •Establish relationships and maintain open communication with third party payor representatives to resolve claims issues. •Perform other duties as assigned. Requirements Position Requirements & Qualifications •High School or equivalency diploma required. •1+ year customer service, administrative, or office experience. •Strong attention to detail and ability to manage high volume, repetitive tasks accurately. •Customer Service oriented. •Proficiency with computers including Microsoft Office Suite/Teams and GoToMeeting/Zoom, etc. Knowledge, Skills & Abilities •Knowledge of computer applications or other automated systems, such as Microsoft Word, Excel, Email, and database software in working assignments •Strong analytical and research skills for resolving payer and patient correspondence issues. •Intermediate knowledge of CPT, HCPCS, and ICD-10 coding preferred. •Display excellent verbal and written communication, good judgement, tact, initiative, and resourcefulness. •Skilled in making accurate arithmetic computations. •Must be detail oriented, organized, and ability to multi-task.
