The Role: Account Moderator
As an Account Moderator at Donorbox, you will play a vital role in safeguarding the integrity of our platform. Your responsibilities will include reviewing accounts, screening customer campaigns, and investigating reported activities to ensure compliance with our Terms of Use and Acceptable Usage Policy. We are seeking a detail-oriented, resourceful, and critically thinking individual with excellent communication skills to join our team.
Key Responsibilities:
- Account Reviews: Conduct thorough reviews of new signups and existing customer accounts to ensure compliance with our policies.
- Campaign Screening: Screen customer campaigns for suspicious activity or red flags that may indicate potential misuse of our platform.
- Investigations: Investigate reported campaigns and potential contraventions of our policies, including research into customer websites, social media, and current social climates.
- Pattern Identification: Identify patterns of behavior by bad actors to keep our security protocols updated and effective.
- Free Speech and Policy Adherence: Uphold the principles of free speech while adhering to the guidelines outlined in the Donorbox Acceptable Usage Policy.
Qualifications and Experience
To succeed as an Account Moderator at Donorbox, you will need:
- 1-3 Years of Experience: Previous experience in account moderation or a related field.
- Excellent Communication Skills: Strong written and verbal communication skills in English.
- Research and Investigative Skills: Ability to conduct thorough research and investigations with attention to detail.
- Analytical Skills: Ability to analyze extensive written content and footage to identify potentially problematic content.
