US-Based Brand & Social Media Strategist for Integrity-Focused Dating Platform (Early Stage)

Overview We are launching a new dating platform built around integrity, verification, and deliberate pacing. This is not a swipe-based, dopamine-driven product. The brand is calm, adult, and serious. We are seeking a US-based brand and social media strategist to help us thoughtfully establish and manage a curated social presence across Instagram (primary), Facebook, LinkedIn, X (optional), and Pinterest (light presence). We are not looking for growth hacking, influencer marketing, trend-chasing, or meme content. We are looking for someone who understands tone control, credibility, and brand consistency in a sensitive category. Phase 1: Strategy Alignment (Initial period) Scope includes: • Develop a clear social media strategy aligned to brand positioning • Define tone, cadence, and content guardrails • Create platform-specific objectives (IG = trust, FB = legitimacy, LinkedIn = credibility, etc.) • Draft content framework (content mix, themes, posting frequency) • Develop comment and response principles (how to handle praise, criticism, confusion, and edge cases) • Produce a 30-day content plan for launch • Establish visual and voice consistency guidelines Deliverable: A concise strategy document + first month of ready-to-post concepts. Phase 2: Account Setup & Optimization • Ensure all accounts are properly configured (bio language, links, highlights, pinned posts, etc.) • Align profiles with website positioning • Coordinate with paid ad creative to ensure brand consistency • Establish analytics and reporting baseline Phase 3: Ongoing Oversight & Community Management (Monthly Retainer) • Execute 8–12 posts per month (primarily Instagram; cross-post where appropriate) • Monitor comments and DMs (daily light monitoring) • Respond according to pre-approved tone and framework • Escalate sensitive issues as needed • Provide monthly performance summary with qualitative insight (not just metrics) Ideal Candidate • US-based • 5+ years experience in brand-forward social media management • Strong writing instincts (professional tone, not influencer tone) • Experience working with founders or early-stage brands • Comfortable operating in nuanced, values-oriented spaces • Understands moderation and comment response frameworks • Able to protect tone under pressure Bonus: • Experience in professional services, lifestyle brands, or regulated categories • Experience launching new brands What This Is Not • Not high-volume content churn • Not trend-based marketing • Not viral-first strategy • Not political positioning Engagement Structure Fixed project (strategy + setup) ( Phase 1 and 2 as described) Monthly retainer for execution and oversight (Phase 3) Please include: 1.Examples of accounts you’ve built or managed (especially early-stage brands) 2.
