Duties:
- Assist in the preparation of financial statements in accordance with GAAP, ensuring accuracy and compliance.
- Support payroll processing and maintain accurate employee records, ensuring timely and efficient payment.
- Perform financial analysis to identify trends, variances, and areas for improvement, providing actionable insights to inform business decisions.
- Maintain accurate records of transactions using accounting software such as QuickBooks and Quicken, ensuring seamless data management.
- Collaborate with team members on various accounting projects, including LIHTC compliance, to drive success and achieve goals.
- Participate in audits and assist in the preparation of audit documentation, ensuring compliance and accuracy.
- Stay updated on financial concepts and regulations relevant to governmental accounting, applying knowledge to drive business growth.
Requirements:
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting or Finance, with relevant experience considered.
