Transcriber – Chinese (Traditional)

Position Overview
• ** AI Solutions is seeking experienced Chinese (Traditional) Transcribers and Linguistic Reviewers to support large-scale video and audio transcription initiatives. This role plays a key part in building a scalable, high-quality transcription program, including quality assurance, reviewer support, and training material development.
This is a hands-on, production-focused role ideal for professionals with strong linguistic accuracy, transcription QA experience, and the ability to support process standardization at scale.
Key Responsibilities
• Accurately transcribe audio and video content in Chinese (Traditional), including phonetic accuracy
• Perform quality reviews of peer transcriptions to ensure linguistic accuracy and compliance with formatting and tagging standards
• Identify and annotate non-speech events (e.g., laughter, background noise, overlapping audio) accurately
• Develop assessments and training materials to onboard and upskill new transcribers
• Provide structured feedback and recommend process improvements to enhance consistency and quality
• Collaborate with US-based teams to align on timelines, priorities, and quality benchmarks
Required Skills & Qualifications
• Professional experience in translation and/or transcription for Chinese (Traditional)
• Strong command of spelling, grammar, punctuation, and linguistic nuance
• Proven attention to detail and ability to maintain accuracy under tight deadlines
• Experience with multimedia content (audio/video transcription) and linguistic QA
• Ability to commit to 40 hours per week
• Strong professional reviews or reputation on ProZ (preferred)
• Familiarity with slang and/or medical terminology is a strong plus
